EHEIM aquacompact 60

The EHEIM aquacompact 60 is a compact external filter for small, open aquariums ranging from 30 to 60 liters. Its unique design combines an internal and external filter in a single unit: The pump, with its intake, pre-filter, and outlet, is located inside the aquarium, while the filter housing is mounted on the outside of the tank. This leaves more free space inside the aquarium, while a large filter volume outside the tank ensures efficient filtration. The filter simply clips onto the aquarium glass and is suitable for glass thicknesses up to 6 mm. Thanks to its fully automatic self-priming feature, the EHEIM aquacompact 60 is exceptionally easy to start: just plug it in, turn it on, and the filter begins operating on its own. The water flow can be adjusted directly on the filter housing or shut off as needed.

The aquacompact 60 comes fully equipped with original EHEIM filter media for thorough mechanical and biological filtration. The filter assembly includes a filter mat, filter fleece, and biological filter media. The additional pre-filter in the intake area protects the pump and biological filter media from coarse debris, thereby contributing to a long service life.

The adjustable outlet allows you to customize water movement to suit your aquarium. The scope of delivery includes, among other things, a nozzle, a nozzle tube, a wide-jet nozzle, as well as elbow and connector pieces. This allows for precise adjustment of surface movement, which supports oxygenation and is particularly important for maintaining stable conditions in small aquariums. The EHEIM aquacompact 60 is also very well suited for breeding and quarantine tanks.
