With EHEIM reeflex UV+e 800 you reduce or eliminate germ contamination and eliminate turbidity in the water. Now with WiFi controls. EHEIM reeflex UV+e is the WiFi-controlled next step of the proven EHEIM UV clarifier reeflex UV. EHEIM reeflex UV +e 800 is suitable for aquariums from 400 up to 800 l.
The principle of the patented reflector technology (with significantly increased germicidal UV-C radiation) has remained the same. While in conventional UV clarifiers the water flows past the UV-C burner via detours, in the EHEIM reeflex UV+e it takes a more direct route. This results in no loss of power and saves energy, being twice as efficient. The reeflex UV+e can be coupled with other products in the EHEIM Digital family and can be controlled via WLAN-enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, notebooks etc.). For example, you can select different modes, determine times and pauses and even switch to booster mode in case of a heavy parasite infestation. The reeflex UV+e should be used to support the filter in order to reduce small organisms (germs, algae spores, etc.) in the aquarium.

Das Gerät an sich ist solide. Aber für den Einbau eine Fehlkonstruktion.
Das fest verbundene Netzteil ist mit einem etwa 40cm langen Kabel mit dem Gerät verbunden und ist vergleichsweise groß. Will man das außerhalb des Technikbecken installieren (230Volt, kein Wasserschutz!) wird es sehr eng.
Am Netzteil selbst befindet sich auch nur eine einzige Platiköse zur Montage. Also Einbaulage: Hängen.
Oder alternativ: Einheit wird weiter weg installiert, dann nützt die.durchdachte Konstruktion nichts weil man ewig lange Schläuche braucht. Die Halterung für die Einheit ist auch nur ein einfacher Plastikclip. Über Kopf Montage fällt so auch aus.
Fazit: gutes Gerät, wenn es zufällig passt: Prima. Wenn nicht wird es irre Aufwendig.
