The Hobby Plant Basket is ideal for cultivating philodendrons, monsteras, ivy and other emergent aquatic plants. The basket enables these plants to grow above the water surface, blending in with the space above the aquarium. The plants extract nutrients from the water, thereby improving its quality. Depending on the species, the plants can be placed directly in the basket, allowing their roots to enter the aquarium through the holes and providing additional shelter for its inhabitants. Alternatively, gravel can be placed in the basket for the plants to take root in. The slider can be used to divide the basket into two compartments, enabling different plants to be cultivated and preventing them from tipping over.
