Overview
A mixture of clay pellets and special resins in JBL ClearMec gently eliminates the pollutants phosphate, nitrite and nitrate from freshwater, preventing undesirable algae growth. The clay pellets promote colonisation by beneficial bacteria and support the biological breakdown of pollutants. The result is crystal-clear, healthy water. Specially designed for the external filter JBL CristalProfi e1500, the complete set is comprised of JBL ClearMec in a filter bag and an edging made of JBL bio-filter foam. Water flows slowly through the JBL ClearMec, allowing the best possible effectiveness, whilst at the same time the total flow of water through the filter is restricted as little as possible tanks to the bio filter foam edging. Package content: 2x bio-filter foam 20 ppi, 800 ml JBL ClearMec, suitable for the external filter JBL CristalProfi e1500 and e1501.
Application of JBL ClearMec plus Pad:
Transfer the complete set into the empty filter basket, remove the plastic bag and rinse briefly with running water. Put the filter basket back into the filter. Remove or replace after approx. 3 months.
