The JBL ProAir a600 is the top model in the series and is designed for situations where maximum air performance is required - e.g., large aquariums, heavily stocked tanks, or applications with permanently higher air requirements. With a flow rate of 600 l/h and > 150 mbar, it offers the largest reserve within the series while remaining efficient with a power consumption of 7 W. As with the larger models, the air volume can be regulated electrically and additionally mechanically, so that the output can be precisely adjusted to the diffuser, air lift, or desired surface movement. Recommended for approx. 250-1000 l, the sound level is 52 dB(A) (at 1 l/min).

For which aquarium sizes is the ProAir a600 suitable?
For aquariums of approx. 250-1000 liters. What is the performance of the a600?
600 l/h flow rate at > 150 mbar, power consumption 7 W.What is the main advantage over the a400?
The highest flow rate and the largest pressure reserve in the series - particularly helpful when a lot of air needs to be distributed or when working under higher counterpressure. Is the air volume adjustable?
Yes. The a600 is electrically and additionally mechanically adjustable. How loud is the a600 during operation?
The sound level is specified as 52 dB(A) (at 1 l/min).What should I do if the pump wanders or vibrates?
Place it on a horizontal surface that is as rough as possible or hang it up, this will better decouple vibrations. Why should the pump not run without a connected hose/outlet?
Running idle leads to premature diaphragm wear and higher noise levels. What maintenance is recommended?
Check/clean or replace the air filter regularly, check the diaphragm and replace it if defective, do not immerse the device in water, only clean it dry.
