Overview
Silicate supports the growth of diatoms in saltwater aquariums. Sera Silicate Clear easily and permanently binds silicate. A practical filter media bad is included with sera Silicate Clear. Briefly rinse sera Silicate Clear with running water in its filter media bag before use, then simply place in the external filter. Remains active up to three months, depending on the silicate level. 500 g are sufficient for a 200 to 400 liter tank.
