An LED converter is required to put a daytime onex, matrix or pendix LED system into operation. The daytime converters are protective extra-low voltage power supply units in accordance with DIN 61347-2 for operating daytime LED systems. The total LED luminaire power of the onex, matrix or pendix luminaires connected to a converter must not exceed the rated converter power.
