The new Aqua Medic Titan coolers are supplied with heat exchanger made from salt water proof Titanium steel. These heat exchangers are corrosion-resistant and free of contaminations. The cooling units can be used in fresh and salt water as well as in various chemicals. The Aqua Medic Titan coolers have a one-phase cooling system containing the cooling medium R 134 a (FCKW-free). They work with capillary injection as control system. Titan coolers are available in 4 different sizes. You can maintain a temperature of 24 °C - 27 °C constant in a small aquarium up to an aquarium of 2,500 l. A digital temperature controller ensures that the adjusted temperature is exactly controlled. The control range is from 3 °C to 32 °C.

Good day,
Titan 150 - 14 mm 1/2" or 20 mm 3/4"
please advice the hose diameters(inner) for Titan 150 and 500 chillers. Other models could be useful at the page as well. Thank you.
Best regards,
Elena.
Titan 500 and 1500 - 20 mm 3/4" or 25 mm 1"
Titan 2000 - 20 mm 3/4" or 25 mm 1"
Titan 4000 - 32 mm 1 1/4" or 37 mm 1 1/2"What is the Aqua Medic Titan chiller used for?
The Titan chiller is designed to reliably cool aquarium water and maintain a stable water temperature, even at high ambient temperatures. In which models is the chiller available?
It comes in four versions: Titan 200 (up to 250 l), Titan 600 (up to 750 l), Titan 1600 (up to 1500 l) and Titan 2200 (up to approx. 2500 l).What technology is used in the Aqua Medic Titan chiller?
The chillers use a capillary injection system, where the refrigerant is metered through a fine capillary tube into the evaporator. This simple, maintenance-free method ensures stable performance and reliable cooling. In addition, all models feature a titanium heat exchanger, making them durable and seawater-resistant.Which refrigerant is used?
All models run with the refrigerant R134A, which is CFC-free and does not harm the ozone layer. Can the chillers be used in both freshwater and marine aquariums?
Yes, the chillers are suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums.Do I need an additional pump to operate the chiller?
Yes, the Titan chiller requires an external pump or an existing filter system to circulate water through the unit. How is the desired temperature set?
Each unit has a digital controller with thermostat, allowing precise adjustment of the target temperature. What are the main differences between the Titan 200, 600, 1600 and 2200 models?
The differences are in cooling capacity and recommended tank sizes: Titan 200 for 250 l, Titan 600 for 750 l, Titan 1600 for 1500 l and Titan 2200 for aquariums up to approx. 2500 l.
