Aquarium Münster Dessamor

Aquarium Münster Dessamor has been formulated for the treatment of fungal infections (Saprolegnia, Achlya) and accompanying bacterial infections of tropical fish. The visible signs of fungal infection are cotton-wool-like patches. Lower organisms (invertebrates) such as anemones, snails and shellfish will not tolerate treatment with dessamor. Active substances: 1 ml dessamor contains: 10.00 mg copper sulphate, 4.00 mg ethacridine lactate, 2.75 mg tetramethylthionin chloride, 2.00 mg acriflavine chloride.

Dosage and application of Aquarium Münster Dessamor:
Day 1: Add 60 drops (3 ml) of dessamor to the aquarium for each 100 l of water and stir to distribute. Do not feed the fi sh. Remove the fi lter from the aquarium and place it over a separate container to continue running in order to keep the microorganisms in the fi lter. Oxygenate the aquarium water. If the water cannot be oxygenated without operating the fi lter then we recommend running the fi lter without fi ltration media in order to ensure suffi cient water circulation. In this case keep the fi ltration media cool in a container with aquarium water.

Day 2: Add 20 drops (1.5 ml) of dessamor to the aquarium for each 100 l of water and stir to distribute. Do not feed the fi sh.

Day 3: Do not add any medication to the water. Feed the fi sh as normal. Put the fi lter back into operation. If the fi ltration media has been stored separately then the water must not be put back in the aquarium. In this case partially wash the fi ltration media out with lukewarm water - but not too thoroughly in order to retain some of the microorganisms.

Day 4 - 6: Do not add any medication to the water. Feed the fi sh as normal.

Day 7: Follow the instructions for Day 1.

Day 8: Do not add any medication to the water. Feed the fi sh as normal. Change approx. 30% of the aquarium water. Put the fi lter back into operation. If the fi ltration mediahas been stored separately then the water must not be put back in the aquarium. In this case partially wash the fi ltration media out with lukewarm water - but not too thoroughly in order to retain some of the microorganisms.
