EHEIM Karbon (fromerly EHFIKARBON) is ideal for use with initial set-up of aquarium in order to bind dissolved harmful substances. EHEIM Karbon is pH-neutral. Before use, wash with hot water and rinse several times under cold water. Suggested use: approx. 2 weeks. Suitable for fresh water only. Place the material into the filter on top of the layer of mechanical filter media. If medications are used, filtering must done through an newly-inserted EHFISYNTH layer.
Arndt B. at 03.11.2020: Bin mit dieser Kohle wirklich sehr zufrieden! habe wiklich schon sehr viele andere ausprobiert und muß sagen diese ist die Beste! Mein Wasser im Aquarium ist schön klar! Meine Fische (Malawis) sehen in den Farben besser aus! Einfach ein Top Produkt!!!
Gianni M. at 29.12.2018: I bought the 2 lt package. I fill a fine mesh plastic bag or a woven bag and I close it with nylon thread. This solution is by far cheaper than the ready to use bags. You need only be careful to close and seal the EHEIM plastic bag after use to fuly preserve the absorption capacity.
