We bought 2 of these heaters in 2023 for our nano tanks, one 30 and one 60 liter. They maintainained the temperature well while they worked.
They both exploded in the same manner, releasing bubbles and black smoke in the water and leaving behind a heavy burned plastic smell in the water, causing some shrimp casualties the first time around. Luckly we were home both times and had time to act quickly.
The first one lasted about 1.5 years and the second one broke just one month before end of warranty.edvin s. at 01.01.2023:
i have great trust in fluval products and this little heater did not make me change my opinion. great for beta tanks. another great item in your fantastic offer, great job guys.
