Hobby Aqua Cooler V1

The Hobby Aqua Cooler V1 is a compact aquarium cooler designed for small aquariums ranging from 10 to 50 liters. Especially on hot summer days, the water temperature in small tanks can rise quickly. The Aqua Cooler V1 helps reliably lower the temperature and maintain a more stable environment in the aquarium. Cooling is provided by a quiet fan that blows across the water’s surface, thereby utilizing evaporative cooling. Depending on the room temperature, location, and air circulation, the water temperature can be reduced by up to 4 °C. This is particularly helpful for shrimp tanks, nano-aquariums, and small planted aquariums, where excessively high temperatures can quickly become stressful for animals and plants.

The Aqua Cooler V1 offers two selectable power settings, allowing you to adjust the cooling performance to the current conditions. On setting 1, the fan operates very quietly, on setting 2, it provides more powerful cooling. Installation is simple—it mounts directly on the aquarium rim and requires no tools. The cooler is suitable for glass thicknesses up to 8 mm.

The modern USB-C port is also convenient. The Aqua Cooler V1 can be powered by a compatible USB power adapter, a power bank, or a USB port. A power adapter is not included. To ensure a particularly consistent temperature, the manufacturer recommends turning on the cooler as early as possible—ideally in the morning, before the room heats up significantly.
