JBL Carbomec ultra

JBL Carbomec ultra is an activated carbon in pellet form with extremely high absorbtion capacity. lt is particularly well suited for the long-term removal of discolouration and high molecular organic pollutants from saltwateraquariums. JBL Carbomec ultra does not release phosphate into the water and does not increase the conductivity. JBL Carbomec ultra is adjusted to pH 8 and therefore ideally suited for use in the pH range from 7.5 to 8.5. In freshwater aquariums. JBL Carbomec ultra should only be used for a very short length of time (max. 2-3 days) to remove residual medication or other harmful substances in freshwater aquariums. In freshwater aquariums, JBL Carbomec ultra should not be permanently used as a filter substance as beneficial substances such as protective colloids or nutrients found in modern aquarium fertilizers (JBL Ferropol) will also be absorbed.
