Overview
JBL BioNitrat Ex is the easiest method for the reliable biological removal of nitrate in fresh and marine water aquariums. JBL BioNitrat Ex consists of filter balls, which are made of bioplastics, which serve as an ideal food source for nitratedegrading bacteria. That means that denitrifying bacteria preferably settle on this material to break it down. During this process the bacteria remove the nitrate from the aquarium. At the same time this stabilises the carbonate hardness and the pH value.

Application of JBL BioNitrat Ex
Dosage: 1 filter ball for 2-3 litres of aqaurium water. The package content (100 filter balls) is sufficient for approx. 200-300 litres of aquarium water. Just place the filter balls as last stage in your external filter. After approx. 4 weeks the nitrate reduction will be beginn. Effectiveness: for approx. 6 - 12 months, depending on the number of fishes in the aquarium. Simply refill degradet filter balls.
