The pump of the Juwel Bioflow L 6.0 are designed to ensure the effectiveness of the filtration system by supplying an adequate slow flow of water through the filter media. Due to the large volume of filtration material, this flow ensures a highly effective filter, which results in crystal clear water.

  THIS JUWEL FILTER IS EXCELLENT !!- I have had this filter up and running for 1 year now, and The best points are it is easy to assemble and set up, it is totally silent in use, so easy to clean with 1 hand (as I lost the use of 1 hand in an accident) , so being able to just remove the top plastic cover and slide the filter baskets out is extremely useful. the other great thing about this filter is even after it has been running a week or 2, it still operates at full power, where as my other filter (eheim bioflow) practically stops flowing when it needs a clean. You can also buy an air diffuser to create bubbles and increase the aeration from the outlet pipe. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FILTER, THE BEST SYSTEM I HAVE FOUND SO FAR, as I did not want an external filter due to the risk of water ending up out of the tank if any issues arose.
