Sera Siporax Professional is a biological filter material for all internal biofilters, external filters, trickle filter systems and garden pond filters. Being a highly efficient long term filter material, sera Siporax is also especially suitable for smaller biofilters. Outer surface area: 0,3 m² per liter. Total effective surface area: 270 m² per liter sera Siporax. The unique pore structure of sera Siporax allows the simultaneous colonization by both aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms. This is only way that it is possible for sera Siporax to break down nitrite and reduce nitrate at the same time. Sera Siporax is suitbale for fresh and marine water aquaria. Easy to clean and immediately reusable.
1000 ml sera Siporx is sufficient for 200 l of Water and replaces up to 34 l conventional filter media.
