Tropical Shrimp-Up! Breeding & Color is a complete staple food for the daily diet of freshwater shrimp. The formula has been specially tailored to support growth, reproduction, molting, and intense coloration. Tropical’s Color Booster formula combines various natural carotenoids with high bioavailability, thereby supporting the shrimp’s natural color development.

A versatile protein blend of insects, krill, and squid provides important essential amino acids, thereby supporting growth, maturation, and reproduction. Additionally, the food contains natural sources of chitin from insects and krill, which are particularly beneficial for crustaceans from a nutritional standpoint. A combination of calcium, phospholipids, betaine, and DHA and EPA fatty acids supports the shrimp during important growth and molting phases. Among other things, these nutrients contribute to tissue formation and the mineralization of the new exoskeleton.

The sinking food blocks measure approximately 5 × 5 × 2 mm. Feeding Recommendation Tropical Shrimp-Up! Breeding & Color
Feed once daily in an amount that the shrimp will consume within a few hours. If other foods from the Shrimp-Up! series are used, Tropical recommends feeding this food every 2-3 days.
