Tropical Shrimp-Up! Minerals & Molting is a complete staple food for the daily diet of freshwater shrimp. At its core is Tropical’s special Molting Booster formula, which specifically supports shrimp during the molting process. A balanced combination of calcium, phospholipids, betaine, and DHA and EPA fatty acids promotes important processes related to growth, tissue formation, and the development of the new exoskeleton.

The supply of minerals is particularly important. The food contains calcium from various sources with different release rates, including organic calcium from red seaweed. At the same time, the ratios of calcium to phosphorus and calcium to magnesium are specifically balanced. This ensures that the shrimp have a continuous supply of building materials for the regeneration and mineralization of their shells.

A diverse protein blend of Hermetia, mealworms, silkworms, krill, and squid provides essential amino acids and supports growth, maturation, and reproduction. Natural chitin from insects and krill complements the formula and is specifically tailored to the nutritional needs of crustaceans.

The sinking food blocks measure approximately 5 × 5 × 2 mm. Thanks to their high digestibility and hydrostability, they retain their shape in the water for a long time and help prevent unnecessary contamination of the water and substrate.

Feeding Recommendation for Tropical Shrimp-Up! Minerals & Molting
Feed once daily in an amount that the shrimp will consume within a few hours. If other foods from the Shrimp-Up! series are used, Tropical recommends feeding this food every 2-3 days.

Ingredients: Includes squid meal 20%, red seaweed (Lithothamnium calcareum) 10%, mealworm larvae meal 6%, Ascophyllum nodosum 3%, Schizochytrium sp. 2%, Hermetia larvae meal 2%, krill meal 1.5%, silkworm pupa meal 1%, as well as various mineral components such as calcium carbonate and dicalcium phosphate.
