A varied protein blend of Hermetia, mealworms, silkworms, krill, and squid provides essential amino acids, thereby supporting rapid growth, maturation, and reproduction. Natural chitin from insects and krill complements the formula and is specifically tailored to the nutritional needs of crustaceans.

The combination of calcium, phospholipids, betaine, and DHA and EPA fatty acids supports important growth and molting phases. According to the manufacturer, this nutrient combination promotes, among other things, tissue formation and the mineralization of the new exoskeleton. The sinking food blocks measure approximately 5 × 5 × 2 mm. Thanks to the special manufacturing process, the food is highly digestible and hydrostable. As a result, it retains its shape longer in the water and helps prevent unnecessary contamination of the water and substrate.

Feeding Recommendation for Tropical Shrimp-Up! Growth & Immunity
Feed once daily in an amount that the shrimp will consume within a few hours. If other foods from the Shrimp-Up! series are used, Tropical recommends feeding this food every 2-3 days.
