growth food for all ornamental fish up to 5 cm. The probiotics applied to the food using a particularly gentle process stabilise the intestinal flora of the ornamental fish and ensure reduced water pollution thanks to more efficient food utilisation. Due to the high protein content of over 50 %, the addition of probiotics and other functional ingredients such as MOS and Haematococcus (rich in natural astaxanthin), the food promotes healthy growth, strong development and brilliant colours in the fish. sera introduced the innovative probiotic ornamental fish food back in 2018. For the first time, it contains the intestinal flora stabiliser Bacillus velezensis (formerly B. subtilis), which is expressly recommended by the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) for use in ornamental fish feed to improve growth and feed conversion. The optimised usability of the feed sustainably promotes the strong, balanced development and health of the fish. The strengthened animals fall ill much less frequently. In addition, the water pollution caused by excretions is considerably reduced. The growth-promoting properties of the food make it ideal for breeding ornamental fish.
