Overview
The herbal water treatment sera Phyto med Catappa contains an extract from tropical almond leaves (Terminalia catappa) as an active agent against fungi, bacteria and external parasites. Due to the new unique extraction process developed by sera, a maximum amount of effective substances is dissolved from the leaves. Due to a special agent mediator, sera Phyto med Catappa becomes effective more quickly. Compared to normal extracts or the mere addition of Catappa leaves, sera Phyto med Catappa is up to 10 times more effective.
sera Phyto med Catappa is suitable for treating:
- bacterial diseases (e.g. fin rot), supports healing in case of infection by various bacteria such as Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas spp., Edwardsiella tarda, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Enterobacter spp., Shewanella putrefaciens, Streptococcus sp., Staphylococcus sp.

- spawn fungus
- Trichodina sp.
Furthermore sera Phyto med Catappa reduces the infestation by Gyrodactyus sp. and Dactylogyrus sp. If possible, a safe diagnosis should be obtained by a microscopic examination of skin or gill swabs.
Additionally, sera Phyto med Catappa also supports recovery after an overcome disease: Wound close faster, and the risk of a secondary bacterial infection or a secondary infection by fungi is considerably reduced.
Recommended dosage of sera Phyto med Catappa
Dosage: 5 ml per each 40 liters (10.6 US gal.) of aquarium water once weekly
