• The Tropical Delfin Single is a durable, air-driven sponge filter designed for freshwater aquariums up to approximately 150 liters. Its key feature is a horizontally positioned round sponge that offers a large surface area for filtration while maintaining a very gentle flow, ideal for shrimp, fry, breeding tanks, or any setup with delicate livestock.

  Installation & operation
  Connect the filter to an air pump using airline tubing. The rising air creates suction, drawing aquarium water evenly through the sponge where debris is trapped and beneficial bacteria thrive. When flow diminishes, gently rinse the sponge in a bucket of aquarium water. Do not use tap water to preserve the biofilm. The sponge is replaceable if needed.

  Included: Complete filter unit with horizontal round sponge, base, and lift tube. Air pump, airline tubing, and check valve are not included.
