Artemia | Eggs, Breeding Sets, Sieves

Artemia are a versatile live food for many freshwater and marine fish. This category combines Artemia eggs with breeding dishes and sets, sieves, salt mixtures and suitable feeds for raising the newly hatched brine shrimp.

Choose eggs and equipment according to the required hatch quantity and available maintenance time. Complete breeding sets simplify aeration and separation, while shallow breeding dishes can be useful for smaller quantities without a conventional aerated hatchery.

Hatching success depends on egg quality, salinity, temperature, light and hygiene. Sieves of suitable mesh size help separate nauplii from shells and culture water before feeding.
